This is an academic project that I designed for my students at Bauder College in Atlanta, GA. The project is similar to the book cover design projects for the Color Theory text books only this time I decided to make the assignment to design a text book cover for Digital Photography. I designed this book cover as an example for students. These book covers have to be designed using illustrations and text only. There are no images to be used for this assignment. This example is an effective book cover design using colorful illustration. It is obvious to the viewer at first glance that the book is about photography. I applied the 2D design to a book cover template to give it a 3D appearance. This is a great project for students and makes a nice addition to my portfolio.
